Bill of Materials
Menu > Bill of Materials
The Bill of Materials section displays all the finished goods in R+ that have a defined Bill of Materials.
You can find this section in R+ by navigating to the main menu and clicking Bill of Materials under the Information section. This will bring you to the following screen:

The screen is divided into the following three sections:
Finished Good Part Number + Location Display
The first section consists of a table that displays the Part Number and Location for all finished goods with a Bill of Materials in R+.
For data to populate on this screen and to visualize a Bill of Materials, you must select a top-level item from the finished good part number table on the left-hand side of the screen. Once an item is selected, the row containing that item is highlighted in blue. The columns in this table can be sorted, filtered, and adjusted, as needed. For information on how to sort and filter, click here.
Once you have selected an item in the finished good part number table on the left-hand side, the other elements on the screen - the part information and bill of materials outline - are populated with data.

Part Information
The middle section contains key information about the item that is selected in the Bill of Materials such as the item’s description, lead time, assigned location, buffer profile, replenishment type, quantity, and R+ lead time. This section also includes a legend to assist with interpreting the Bill of Materials.
In the below image, you can see that finished good SAD has a lead time of 10 days, and an R+ Lead Time of 12 days. It is a buffered part with a buffer profile of M11.

Bill of Materials
The last section displays the actual full Bill of Materials for the finished good selected from the first section. This is an adjustable view that provides you visibility into the item’s entire product structure.
The Bill of Materials view gives you visibility into the finished good’s entire product structure. You can visualize how many levels there are in the Bill of Materials for the top-level item. To do so, you can use the “expand all” button to see each child part below the finished good, along with relevant data such as the child parts’ replenishment method, R+ lead time, and individual lead time. Conversely, if you would like to only view the finished good, you can use the “collapse all” functionality to hide all the levels under the top-level item.

Once the Bill of Materials is populated, you can also select child parts in the BoM to view their part information in the middle section of the screen. Once you are in this view, you can click into any item within the Bill of Materials to see the data specifically for the selected item.
For example, if you click "ICC" in the BoM in the section above, you will see the information for ICC populated in the middle part information section. The section will tell you the lead time for the item, it's buffer profile (if any), and the amount needed of the child part (ICC) to make the parent at the top of the BoM (SAD).
