Data Export

The Data Export screen in R+ allows you to download all site data files that are transferred between your ERP and R+, as well as export other data files like the Committed Order History, Part Details data, and if you use the MRP engine in R+, the Exploded Demand Forecasts. You can also download blank templates of all of the CSV files used to upload data into R+. For more info on how to format and upload data into R+, visit the Import Management page.

System Data Export

In System Data Export, you will be able to export all of the available CSV files for your version of R+.

Selecting CSV Formatting

To export current data, first select the settings for the CSV export by clicking the CSV Settings button.

In the pop-up, choose your preferred delimiter and numeral format in the drop downs. You can also choose your current location/region in the "Baseline Formatting Region" dropdown and the Date Format, Delimiter, and Expected Numeric Format fields will change to the default CSV format for that region. There is no Save button here; once you have finished selecting your preferences, click out of the window.

If you have changed the Baseline Formatting Region field, the location/language icon at the top of the box will change to the new region. For example, if you selected Germany as your Baseline Region, the System Data Export will change to reflect that preference.

The CSV Settings here only apply to the files in Data Export. Use the Language selector to determine the CSV settings for the Workbench/Alerts/APM CSV exports.

Downloading Current Data

To export one or more of the current CSV files in R+, use the checkboxes to select which files you wish to export. Anything with a checkmark will be exported. In the below example, you would only be exporting the Part file.

Click "Select None" at the top of the checklist to uncheck everything.

To export the selected files, tap the green "Download System Data Archive" button. This will export a .zip file with all of the CSV files you have selected.

Downloading CSV Templates

To export out blank templates of the CSV files in R+, use the check boxes to select the files you wish to export templates for. In the below example, you would be exporting out blank template files for Cycle Day Adjustment Factors and Planned Adjustment Factors. You might need to export these files if you intend to create multiple CDAFs or PAFs and do not wish to enter each manually.

Then select the bottom button in the box, "Download Empty System Data Template". This will export all of the selected blank templates into a .zip file.

Other Data Exports

There are a few other data files that you will be able to download from the Data Export page. These are all EXPORT ONLY CSV files.

Download R+ Exploded Demand Forecasts

This file is generated from R+ out of the Forecast Data input for Finished Goods. This file is only available for parts with Bill of Materials and when MRP is turned on.

Download Part Detail

This file contains all of the information from the Properties tab in the Part Details.

Download Committed Order History

This file contains the all historical orders that have been approved and transacted from R+ to your ERP system. This file can also be exported out of the Pending Orders screen.
