Navigation & Set Up
Menu > Workbench
The Workbench can be accessed in two ways. The first option is to select the Workbench at the top of the display. The second option is to click Workbench via the Menu.

The Workbench provides you with visibility into the items you manage and will direct your day to day actions. Some of the key data points included in the Workbench are: Buffer Profiles, Buffer Zones, Alert Type, Alert Status, Lead Time, Net Flow Position, and the Recommended Reorder Quantity.

Workbench View Setup
The are multiple ways to customize the R+ Workbench. You will want to move and size columns to suit your preferences.
Sizing and Rearranging Columns
Sometimes, the length of data will not fit in the current column width. To change the width of a column, hover your mouse between columns for the sizing arrows to appear. Once the sizing arrow is displayed, drag the column to the right or left to adjust the size as needed.
To rearrange the order of the columns in the Workbench, select the column header you want to move, drag it to the desired destination, and drop it. This enables you to view important information such as Priority, Alert Status, Net Flow Position, and Reorder Quantity at a glance without the need to scroll and search for this data.

You can change the view of the Workbench in terms of the number of items displayed per page. In the image below, the highlighted section displays how to change this setting to view 20, 40, or 80 records at a time.

Hiding Columns
You can also hide columns that you do not use or add columns that are not currently shown on the Workbench. To do so, open the Edit Column Settings view. In this dropdown, the third option is “Columns”. Clicking this displays a list of all available columns in the Planner’s Workbench along with a checkbox. When checked, the column will appear in the Workbench. If unchecked, it will be hidden from the Workbench.

Locking & Unlocking Columns
You can also lock a column to the front on the Workbench. This will ensure that it is always visible, even while you scroll to other columns. To lock a column, click on the Edit Column Settings (triple dots) on the column that you want to lock. Click the "Lock" tab.

This will lock the column to the front of the Workbench.

To unlock a column (remove it from the front of the Workbench), go to the Edit Column Settings (triple dots) on the column that you want to unlock. Click the "Unlock" tab.

Exporting Workbench Data
To export data from the Workbench, select the downward arrow button at the top left of the screen. In the image shown below, this export button is encircled in red. Clicking on it opens the Export Data section which presents the user two options: exporting the current view or exporting all data from the Workbench. The current view option allows you to only export certain data based on filters that have been applied. In the example below, the current view of the Workbench is only displaying Items in the “Critical” and “High” Priorities at the “Plant” Location. The second option exports all data from the Workbench. Once a selection has been made, the export produces a CSV file with the relevant data.
