Stock Deployment
Menu > Site Administration > Stock Deployment

The Source Location dropdown is where you will select the sourcing unit for the network. All stock deployments will originate from this location.
Source Settings
Source settings can be set up at a location level. To switch between locations, click the dropdown at the top of the screen and select the location you want to change.
The Deployment Mode setting determines which type of deployment model you will be using: Direct Ship or Hub and Spoke. The side that is a darker blue is the selected option.
Override Holdback controls whether Holdback should or should not be used. If this setting is ON, R+ will not hold back any quantity at the Sourcing Unit.
The Include Issued Quantity in Holdback setting determines if the quantity in transit from the Sourcing Unit to the end location will be included as inventory at the Hub in a Hub and Spoke model. If this setting is ON, the in transit amount is captured as part of the inventory available at the hub.
If the Hold inventory for Qualified Demand setting is ON, the SDM will hold back enough inventory to fulfill qualified demand for all parts at the Sourcing Unit.
The Minimum Holdback % is the minimum percentage of EDU quantity that will always be held back at the Sourcing Unit. This value overrides the value calculated at the part level in the SDM.
The Demand Window (days) value determines which days of demand in the future are qualified to be considered in the “qualified demand” equation in SDM to calculate Available to Deploy Quantity. This setting will not affect current qualified demand equations for Net Flow in the Workbench.
While the previous setting looks at demand to consider in the SDM calculations, Calendar look ahead days considers how long to look ahead at open supply orders to include in Available to Deploy quantity. You can decide how many days to look ahead, given today is either Sunday, Monday, or so on. The look ahead days apply to the day of the week it is, NOT the number of that day of the week to look ahead. This setting is most often used with the Direct Ship method.
Shared Settings

Shared settings contain the default settings for all locations for export file names, for the minimum holdback percentage, and the Calendar look ahead days. These will be the default settings for all locations unless you change the source settings at a location level.
