Account Tips and Password Recovery

Account Tips and Reminders:

• Selecting the “Remember me next time” option on the login screen will autofill your username and password. It will help you sign in faster the next time you login. This option is only available if the Site Administrator has allowed it.

• Your Site Administrator will set a maximum number of inactive hours allowed before you are automatically signed off. For example, if it is set at a maximum of one hour, you will be logged off of R+ if you have no activity for an hour in the instance. If you are automatically logged off, you will need to login again to perform any action in R+.

• Even though there is a “inactive hours” policy, it is still a good security practice to log out of R+ immediately after completion of your task.

• Another good security policy is to frequently change your password. While you should regularly change your password, the Site Administrator can enforce the “Password Max Age” setting, which will force you to change your password after a set period of time. Please visit the “Forgetting Your Password” section for more information on how to change your password.

Forgot Your Password

To change a current password or to change passwords if you forgot your current password, click the “Did you forget your Password?” link in the Login page. On the next screen you will enter your username and select “Request Password Reset”.

R+ will send an email notification with a link to change your password to the email associated with your R+ account. If this email does not appear in 5 minutes, check your junk email.
