The Location Calendar is where you can set location-specific workday calendars and is also where you schedule holidays in R+. Once you make changes to this calendar, Intuiflow will respect the location-specific changes over the default calendar.
The EDU calculation is primarily based on the calendars and the number of weeks in the ADU/FDU horizons in the Site Administration settings. The EDU calculation is always the Total Demand / Number of Working Days within the ADU/FDU horizons.
If you have a location calendar entered, the EDU for the parts at that location will respect the number of working days established on the Location calendar instead of the Default calendar. Similarly, the Number of Working Days will be affected by holidays. Once a holiday has been entered, it will become a "Non-working day" and will subtract the number of days in the holiday from the Number of Working Days in the EDU calculation.
Only holidays that have been entered prior to Today will be removed from the EDU calculation. You cannot enter a holiday for a past date and thus cannot remove days in the past from the EDU calculation.
All order dates on the supply orders generated by Intuiflow in the Workbench and in the S&OP module will follow the Location Calendar instead of the Default Calendar if it has been set up for a part type at a location.
For order dates, the Scheduled Order Date, Promise Date, Request Date, and Order Receipt Date will never land on a day designated as a holiday. There is one exception: you can create a custom order that has a request date on a holiday.
